Timber Creek is under construction with permits pulled for both townhome units as well as single family. Phase I for the project is fully approved and the City has received an application for Phase II, which is anticipated to be reviewed by the Planning Commission and City Council this spring. Summer 2022 will likely include many new home starts in Timber Creek - in total, the development will have 349 total units, 74 of which are townhomes.
Streets were recently paved in the first addition and the developer is in the process of obtaining a grading permit for Phase II. Grading work is scheduled to begin in mid-July.
The Planning Commission reviewed the Preliminary Plat at their April 15 meeting and the City Council completed their review on May 3, 2021.
The property was annexed into the City of Carver in February 2021.
Environmental Assessment Worksheet
Prior to the Preliminary Plat process, a concept for the project moved through both Planning Commission and City Council and an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) was required due to the number of units. The Timber Creek Environmental Assessment Worksheet (PDF) is available for review.
Previous planning steps have included review of a concept plan submitted by Summergate. The sketch plat is a basic design of what a project could look like prior to in-depth engineering of the site.
A full sized Approved - Song Concept is available for review.
