2024 Street Maintenance Project
The City Council adopted its first Pavement Management Plan in the fall of 2021. The five-year plan began in 2022 and the 2024 Street Maintenance Project is Year Three of the Plan.

Ironwood Park
Ironwood Park will grow by roughly 3.5 acres. Updated park features which include an outdoor classroom, basketball court, a pavilion, a new skate park, and passive seating areas throughout the park. The pavilion will be available for rent. Permanent lawn games including corn hole and ping pong will be included.

Pavement Management Plan
The Pavement Management Plan provides a comprehensive overview of street conditions, identifies the maintenance needed for the street system, and integrates a financing model to pay for the plan elements.

Water Treatment Facility Expansion
The City of Carver has grown and changed since it installed its first water treatment facility in 2004. With the population tripling since 2000, the City’s current water treatment facility is reaching maximum capacity. The City of Carver is planning to expand the current water treatment facility to meet these demands.

Water and Sewer Extension Study
Trunk area charges proactively provide a means to distribute a major utility infrastructure expansion cost evenly to the properties that will directly benefit from the expansion, paid back over time as the area develops. This charge structure can make these major growth areas fiscally feasible to develop.
