Road Turnback: The City of Carver and Carver County entered into an agreement for Carver County Road 40 to be turned back to the City of Carver. Carver County Road 40, which comprises sections of Old Carver Road, 4th Street East, Broadway, and Main Street West, will now be managed and maintained by the City of Carver. In return, the City of Carver will receive $1.138 million from Carver County for future road maintenance projects along the corridor.
2023 Budget and Tax Levy: The City Council adopted the 2023 Budget and approved the 2023 tax levy with a 6.9% increase. The average value home in Carver is anticipated to experience a $29 decrease in City property taxes from budget year 2022. Liquor License Application – 205 Broadway: The City Council approved a liquor license application for 205 Broadway (currently Lisa’s Place) for Karen Maresch.
