Construction Update: April 2023
The 6th Street Improvements Project is scheduled to resume the week of May 1, 2023, weather dependent. Construction will take place from Broadway Street to Jonathan Carver Parkway, while crews work to complete the remaining improvements associated with this project. Some of the remaining work includes, but is not limited to: - Driveway paving
- Sidewalk construction
- Ditchway grading
- Final lift of asphalt paving
Sixth Street will remain open to the public during this work, however, please use extreme caution when traveling through the work zone. Work is anticipated to continue through the end of May or into early June.
