Gateways to Carver Corridor Study: The City Council adopted a corridor study for what is commonly known as the former CSAH 40, that runs from Jonathan Carver Parkway to CSAH 61 (Chaska Blvd.). A committee comprised of residents and business owners developed the corridor concept that includes parts of Main St. W., Broadway, 4th St. E., and Old Carver Road. The corridor’s vision includes intersection improvements at Mount Hope Rd. and Old Carver Rd., as well as at Main St. W. and Broadway. In addition, the concept identifies future additional parking opportunities and pedestrian safety improvements, including a new off-street trail from downtown to Jonathan Carver Parkway, along Main St. W.
