Gilbert Property Concept Plan The City Council reviewed a concept plan for twenty four single-family homes on a fifteen acre property, just south of the Meadows at Spring Creek housing development. The Concept Plan is the first step in the residential development process. The Planning Commission and City Council are both provided an opportunity to comment on the concept, prior to the developer deciding whether or not to move forward with a formal application to develop the property. The Council discussed a variety of details related to the concept such as lot size, trail locations, street location, and adjacent bluff land. The City Council does not take any formal approval action during the Concept Plan Phase. Next steps in the process would be a Preliminary Plat and Rezoning application, should the developer (Kurt Manley), choose to move forward. To view the Concept Plan click here.
