Next Steps Learning Center:  The City Council provided comments on a concept plan for a proposed Next Steps Learning Center in the Carver Commons Development (Kwik Trip). The concept plan shows a 16,299 square foot building that can accommodate 189 children. Additionally, the concept plan shows four outdoor play spaces and required infrastructure for the building including site access and parking. The developer is planning to submit additional land use applications for the project later this winter, with construction anticipated to begin this spring, with the goal of opening by year’s end.        

2022 Street Maintenance Project:  The City Council authorized the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for a mill and overlay and reclamation project in the Eagle Ridge neighborhood. Once the plans are prepared by the City Engineer, the City Council will have the opportunity to approve the project and advertise for bids. Prior to the project beginning this summer, residents living in the Eagle Ridge neighborhood will receive a mailing with additional project contacts and details.
