6th St. W. Improvement Project: The City Council awarded the bid for the 6th St. W. Improvement Project to BCM Construction for $2,325,746.15. Construction for the project is anticipated to begin in June and includes a full depth pavement reclamation, along with storm water, water main, trail and lighting improvements along the corridor. The project is anticipated to be substantially completed this October, with all project components finished in the spring of 2023.
2022 Street Maintenance Project: The City Council awarded the bid for the 2022 Street Maintenance Project to GMH Asphalt for $417,228.27. Construction for the project is anticipated to begin in mid-May and includes pavement restoration work in the Eagle Ridge neighborhood.
