Construction Update: October 14, 2022
Work completed the week of October 10:
This week, construction on the watermain progressed and is nearly complete. 6th Street east of Community Park is prepared and paving began Friday, Oct. 14. The restoration of partial site turf and installation of new Xcel Energy utilities continued this week. And finally, the electrical sub-contract has been on-site installing new electrical lines for walkway and street lighting.
Work planned the week of October 17:
Work will include:
- The contractor completing the watermain installation and then beginning the installation of final water services remaining.
- Crews installing the 15” storm sewer drain tile on the north side of the curb line toward the east end of 6th Street.
- Xcel Energy continuing to install new utilities.
- Additional restoration of graded ditch ways.
